Whitelabel Branding
ApprovIQ allows approvers to customise the appearance of project communications with their own branding. When whitelabel settings are configured, emails and invitations sent to applicants and collaborators display your logo and brand colours instead of the default ApprovIQ branding.
What You Can Customise
| Setting | Description |
|---|---|
| Logo | Your company or practice logo, displayed in email headers |
| Accent colour | A hex colour code used throughout email communications |
What Whitelabel Affects
Email Communications
When whitelabel is active, all email notifications and digest emails display your branding:
- Email header — your logo replaces the ApprovIQ logo
- Heading colours — derived from your accent colour
- Button colours — call-to-action buttons use your accent colour
- Link colours — text links match your brand
- Background accents — subtle background colours derived from your accent
Project Invitations
When you invite an applicant or collaborator to a project, the invitation email uses your whitelabel branding. This creates a professional, branded experience from the very first interaction.
Configuring Whitelabel
- Go to Settings from your account menu
- Find the Whitelabel section
- Upload your logo (PNG or JPEG, max 2 MB)
- Enter your accent colour as a hex code (e.g.,
#2e5f64) - Settings are saved automatically
Logo Guidelines
- Format: PNG or JPEG
- Maximum size: 2 MB
- Recommended dimensions: 200–400px wide, with a transparent background (PNG) for best results
- The logo will be displayed at a height of 48px with automatic width scaling
Accent Colour
The accent colour is used as the base for deriving a full email colour palette:
- Headings, buttons, and links all use colours derived from your accent
- Choose a colour that represents your brand and provides good contrast with white text
How It Works
Whitelabel branding is applied when all projects in a notification email share a single approver who has whitelabel settings configured. This means:
- If a notification covers multiple projects by the same approver — whitelabel applies
- If a notification covers projects by different approvers — default ApprovIQ branding is used (to avoid confusion about whose brand to show)
This logic ensures that branded emails always clearly represent a single practice or organisation.
Preview
After configuring your whitelabel settings, the next notification or digest email sent from your projects will use your branding. There is no separate preview feature — simply trigger a notification (e.g., add a comment to a project) to see how your branded emails look.
Test your whitelabel branding by creating a small test project with yourself as both approver and applicant, then triggering notifications to see how emails appear with your logo and colours.
